How did www.stratology.com get started?

The project began in 2007 when working with fast growth Silicon Valley businesses it became clear that it was necessary to create a standardised means of developing and communicating strategy. The reasoning behind this was that if a variety of individuals from different disciplines could learn how to use exactly the same strategic concepts in exactly the same way - it would become much easier to develop strategies collaboratively, thereby allowing a business to truly benefit from aggregated brainpower. To meet this challenge, we spent several years working with numerous leading academics as well as organizations from the public and private sectors to develop an online course that could be delivered en masse, to a wide audience, teaching the essential strategic concepts that are taught on MBA courses. The content has been further enhanced as a result of the literally thousands of courses we have delivered to businesses of every kind over the last few years.
